ASAC again announces its ongoing Mini-Grant Program for 2010: Deadline November 1, 2010. If you are a qualified educator/clinician and a member of ASAC, or willing to become a member, please consider applying. This year's chairperson is Bambi Polotzola (see her contact information by clicking her name) and she has assembled a distinguished panel to review applications. ASAC is proud to announce a new pilot program, Family Friendly Films, in partnership and collaboration with The Grand 16, Lafayette, and Southern Theaters, LLC. Family Friendly Films will be held the last Saturday of each month at The Grand 16, 3141 Johnston Street, Lafayette,  70503 @ 10:00 am. Tickets will be matinee price -$7, Adults and Children.
 
Lights will be tuned down, but not off, and the sound will be lowered; kids will be free to move around if needed, but no running, we want this to be a pleasurable experience for all. Outside snacks due to dietary restrictions will be allowed, however, the concession stand will be open.
 
First movie date - Sept 25th. Tentative movie, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole
